September Bucket List

Over the last few months, I have been joining in with Beth’s from Twinderelmo monthly bucket list linky. I really love the process of writing a list and it has helped me to focus on what I want to achieve during the month. Although I never seem to manage it all, it’s good to see all my goals in one place. August seems to have flown past and I am very much looking forward to getting stuck into Autumn!

What we achieved last month:

  • I have done fairly well on the spending ban front, there have been ups and downs. We did have some luck with our gas and electric and found out we were overpaying by a lot so we will have a good refund back.
  • Steve assures me that he had a good birthday, we had a lovely day at Cogges manor farm in Witney.
  • I have a big fat fail on the national trust front, I have found somewhere near us so will have to visit this month.
  • I also haven’t done any Ebaying, which is something I really need to do. Could someone please lend me some motivation??
  • I have been using Facebook a little more for the blog although I thought I could join groups with my page but apparently not.

Hello, September

Here’s my September bucket list:

Family:

  • Steve and I are off to see Foo Fighters next Sunday, I have my fingers crossed thaT Dave Grohl does not break a leg this time!
  • Book a couple of visits to some local Pre-school’s. After some fab feedback from this post, we have decided to wait until Oliver is three to send him to Pre-school. I have narrowed it down to two, so just need to book some visits.
  • Do a weekly Autumn activity with Oliver, I have made a Pinterest board with lots of inspiration.
  • Go to Harcourt Arboretum for our first Autumn walk of the year.
  • Take Oliver to a local read-a-thon, the children can dress as their favourite book character so I need to have a good think of what Oliver can wear.

Me:

  • Carry on with the money saving, I want to get through my big pile of Ebay stuff and sell one of Oliver’s pushchairs.
  • My mum has given us an old bedside cabinet for me to upcycle. I just need to need to figure out what colour to go for and find some new drawer knobs.

Blog/Work:

  • I am going to my first blogging event, Funfest blogger summit on the 12th, I need to order some blog business cards and force myself out the front door on morning of the event as I know I will be incredibly nervous. Is anybody else going?
  • I would like to find the time to write a couple of posts that I can keep in drafts in case I don’t have the time to blog. I think it will make me feel a little less stressed knowing I have a backup.

What’s on your bucket list this month?

Thanks for reading,
